Kidney Infection Flank Pain

Pain in the area of your right kidney.

Kidney infection flank pain. Usually the pain is worse on one side of your body. The kidneys are located near the lower back at each side of the spine. People with a kidney infection often experience dull pain in this location.

Only one kidney is usually affected in most. Back side flank or groin pain. Depending on the cause of the pain it may radiate down the flank to the groin or toward the abdominal area.

Where the pain is. You may have an upper backache or the pain can spread to your stomach. Left kidney pain may feel like a sharp pain or dull ache on your left side or flank.
